You’re good at what you do. You’re managing well. But something isn’t quite right anymore.
That’s where I come in. I work with mid-career professionals who want to get clear on their next move and take confident action. It’s about understanding what matters to you, exploring your options, and making decisions you can stand behind.
My approach is practical and grounded. Alongside coaching conversations, I use writing as a way to help you slow down, organise your thinking, and see things more clearly.
If that sounds like what you need, let’s have a conversation.
After changes in my sector and personal circumstances, I found myself questioning my direction and struggling with a loss of confidence.
Working with Mark helped me get clear on my goals and put a plan in place. I now have a renewed sense of direction and feel much more positive about my work.

I came to Mark when I was facing redundancy and no longer enjoying my job.
The coaching helped me refocus on my skills, values and motivations, and gave me a clearer sense of direction. It’s had a real impact both professionally and personally.

I needed help figuring out my next move, and Mark was brilliant at helping me break things down and see new possibilities. The process felt like real clarity for my career.

I’m Mark Crossfield, an accredited coach and licensed career coach specialising in mid-career change.
Before this, I spent 28 years as a civil engineer, leading teams and projects in local government. Like many of the people I now work with, I reached a point where something wasn’t quite right and I had to work out what came next.
That experience now shapes how I work with clients.
My aproach is practical, thoughtful, and grounded. I help people step back, think clearly about their careers, and make decisions they can stand behind.
I’m also the host of the Mid-Career Change podcast, where I explore many of these ideas in more depth.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking, reading, music, and travelling with my wife Andrea.
